The Main Campus of Dongseo University spans an area of 82 acres on a scenic mountainside in central Busan. It consists of 24 primary buildings equipped with the best classroom, laboratory and special research facilities in the region. The world-class infrastructure at DSU has been steadily developing throughout its relatively short history. Dongseo was the first university in Korea to develop a campus-wide, high-speed information network, and it was also the first to develop a WiBro campus. Today, students stay connected using free Wifi services covering the entire campus grounds.

Campus Development

  • Dongseo University’s new seven-story Global Studies Institute Building, where local and international students will take English-language-based courses and where Design Department students will study in brand new, state-of-the-art workshop spaces, officially opened.
  • The Global Village offers the best accommodation, study and recreational facilities. Its area of 37,270 square meters is divided among 13 stories and six basement levels. The student dormitories on the upper levels accommodate over 1000 people and the student cafeteria seats 550. Facilities include classrooms, a swimming pool, a fitness center and a sauna.
  • Above the Student Plaza is DSU’s Main Stadium, which has a full-sized soccer field covered with artificial turf, urethane running tracks, and bleachers. The main levels of the Student Plaza house a cafeteria, a convenience store, a book café, a billiard room, restaurants and many rooms assigned for use by DSU student clubs.
