DSU is quickly rising as a leader in gaming certification with the recent accreditation by the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA). In 2008, DSU first established the Arcade Game – Regional Innovation Center (AG-RIC). It was designated as BMM Korea in 2010, an affiliate of BMM Compliance, “the longest established and most experienced private independent gaming certification lab in the world.”† BMM Korea provides professional technical and regulatory compliance services to the Korean gaming industry.
With A2LA’s accreditation, BMM Korea can certify software and hardware testing of electronic game machines developed by Korean companies. Not only will this accreditation save companies 40~50% of certification costs, but it will also increase consumer confidence in domestic gaming products.
Being the first and only gaming accredited institution in Korea is a significant accomplishment for DSU.
