DSU President, Park Dong Soon, and Executive Vice President, Chang Jekuk, together with the Director of the International Exchange & Cooperation Center, Chung Chan, visited Silpakorn University and Bangkok University in Thailand from October 24th to 27th.
On the 25th, they met with the President of Silpakorn University, Uthai Dulyakasem, and on the 26th, they visited Silpakorn University’s campus to discuss an exchange agreement. They promised to conclude an official exchange agreement in the future and to revitalize exchanges for both students and professors.
Silpakorn University ranks in the top three of Thailand’s universities. It also has a Department of Korean Language and has conducted a lot of research on Korea.
On October 27th, DSU’s delegation visited Bangkok University which DSU has already concluded an academic exchange agreement with. A decision was made to extend the range of the cooperation and exchanges between the schools.
President Park also met two Dongseo exchange students who have been studying at Bangkok University and encouraged them over lunch.
