On March 8, Dongseo University President Jekuk Chang announced that a team of four DSU Business Management students in the VOICE (Virtual Office, Ideation, Creation, Evolution) program were selected to take part in the “2016 Social Entrepreneur Development Project.” The team members are Kang Dong-hoon, Choi Hyeon-seok, Kim Seong-su, and Ryu Joon-ryeol.

This project, which is sponsored by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and supervised by the Korea Social Enterprise Promotion Agency, supports the entire business start-up process for participants looking to create a social enterprise.

Through its proposal on “Realization of an International Educational Community with Multicultural Manpower,” the VOICE team set a goal of providing free educational opportunities to Vietnamese university students in exchange for commissions on job connections. The team will receive a space for the start-up and funds of up to 50 million won. It will also be eligible to participate in follow-up opportunities such as mentoring education programs and a crowd funding contest.

The VOICE program at Dongseo University also provides customized human resources to Korean companies based on their support for training.
