GSI Sport’s Club - Spring 3

Hello, everyone! I am Byeong-Uk and the captain of the GSI sports club. Today, we learned how to use some new fitness equipment and played “Speedminton”, which is similar to badminton. We went to a special work-out center and learned about the “Dead Lift”, “Chest Press”, and “Butter Fly”. First, our trainers showed us how to safely and effectively use the equipment, and told us that we have to focus on our chests when we do the “Chest Press” and “Butter Fly”. Also, we practiced the “Dead Lift”. It made us crazy. It was so hard that we were not able to do many other practice activities, but it was very useful! Now, we can do the “Butter Fly”, “Chest Press”, and “Dead Lift” confidently and in the right way! Once we finished the work out, we played “Speedminton”. It was not difficult to learn, and were pleased to enjoy a friendly match!

In this club, we trained with body-building activities and played badminton with foreign and Korean friends. The experience was so awesome and fun. We learned basic things about body-building; including sit-ups, using body-building equipment and some other related exercises. Additionally, we enjoyed playing badminton with friends. All in all, I am so glad to be a member of this club, and I strongly recommend other students to join.

∙Activity: Various sports activities

We always have a great time while exercising with trainers and members. If you want to attend this club, feel free to come to Minseok sports center on the 3rd floor. I will be waiting for you.
