Visual Design Major Wins Grand Prize

사본 -image.png (352.07 KB)Yun So Young, a senior in the Visual Design Department at DSU, won the Grand Prize at the 39th Grand Art Exhibition of Busan. This national exhibition is co-hosted by the Busan Metropolitan City and the Busan Fine Arts Association. There were 190 entries displayed in the areas of Visual Design, Media Interaction Design, and Product Design.
Ms. Yun’s winning work was titled 'Graphic Design for Village Buses in Busan Cultural Tourist Spots'. She displayed three representative photos demonstrating her idea that local buses could be used to promote famous tourist spots in Busan. One jurist praised the background picture of tourist spots, the simplified appearance of people, and the harmony of color in her work.
Ms. Yun said, "In spite of many challenging moments studying Design, I believe this award will inspire me to continue my pursuit of becoming an outstanding designer."
