On March 30th, Dongseo University concluded an academic-industrial agreement with SK Telecom and SK Broadband at Global Room. Through this agreement, Dongseo and two enterprises will jointly participate in incubating talented students, doing research on communication technology, enhancing communication services and contributing to the economic development of the community as well as the country.
At the agreement ceremony, Dongseo President Park Dong Soon, Executive Vice President Chang Jekuk, Dean of Planning and Research Office Song Seung Hwan, President of SK Broadband Park In Sik, Busan Marketing Head Office Director Cho Woo Hyeon, Busan Network Head Office Director Jo Kwang Sik and others attended.
On that day, the three institution representatives signed the agreement, which includes five articles, fostering people of ability through academic-industrial cooperation, constructing a mobile campus, enhancing wire & wireless communication services, cooperating in the employment and internship of Dongseo students, and promoting joint projects related with education and academic-industrial cooperation.
President Park said at the ceremony, "Dongseo University has had surprising results in the fields of 3D content and mobile content. The agreement with SK Telecom and SK Broadband will contribute to drawing a variety of academic-industrial cooperation models. We hope to make a 'win-win relationship' by strengthening the advantages of these three institutions."
President of SK Broadband Park said, "After looking around Dongseo University, I am much impressed by the scale of the campus and the well-arranged landscape. Dongseo’s specialized strategy on IT since its foundation has proved right.
