Rector Heidrich Balázs and Chancellor Ferenc Dietz of the Budapest Business School visited Dongseo University on June 7. The Budapest Business School is a DSU sister university, and the purpose of the visit was to expand international exchanges and cooperation between the two institutions. The Budapest Business School is a prestigious business university, and the synergy effects from business exchanges between the two universities is expected to be considerable in the coming years.
Rector Balázs and Chancellor Dietz, together with the Budapest Business School’s dean of the faculty of finance and accountancy and two other officials, met with President Jekuk Chang of Dongseo University to discuss student exchange programs and other cooperation initiatives such as faculty exchanges. President Chang has been steadily engaged in activities promoting friendly exchanges between Busan and Hungary since he took office as honorary consul of Hungary in October 2016.
The Budapest Business School officials visited the Centum campus as well as the Jurye main campus on a tour of Dongseo’s educational facilities.
“We are fortunate to have foreign guests visit us frequently,” said President Jekuk Chang. “Recently, on June 5, a delegation from Shanghai Dianji University came to our campuses. And now, on June 7, we are pleased to welcome leaders from the Budapest Business School. Together we have discussed possible exchanges and cooperation and signed a joint program agreement. The resulting opportunities will enable more of our students to study abroad in future.”
