Dongseo University and renowned education company YBM have signed a business agreement for global education cooperation. The signing ceremony was held on June 17 in the Global Room on the 11th floor of Dongseo University’s New Millennium Building and was attended by representatives from both institutions, including DSU’s President Jekuk Chang and Vice President of Education Nam Ho-soo, YBM Chairman Min Seon-sik and YBM Net CEO Oh Jae-hwan.
Through this agreement, the two sides will create a joint education curriculum that meets the needs of the domestic and foreign education markets, as well as develop educational contents with an artificial intelligence (AI) customized education system. YBM Net will cooperate by providing equipment and facilities to produce videos of Dongseo University educational contents, by establishing an online conversion of contents and by implementing a Learning Management System (LMS).
In addition, DSU and YBM will design and develop new products by modifying and supplementing the Korean education contents owned by both institutions. With these new products, they will pioneer in overseas markets and assist overseas students at domestic universities in learning the Korean language more efficiently.
Jekuk Chang, president of Dongseo University, said that the signing of the business agreement “will enable the development of adaptive class contents incorporating AI, and will lead to new types of advanced educational content in Korea and abroad."
