Dongseo University Wins the
2026 Montreux International Advertising Festival Talent Award
9 Award-Winning Projects Including Gold Awards for Five Consecutive Years

Students from Dongseo University have once again proven their capabilities on the global advertising stage. The university announced that its students received the “Montreux Talent Award” in the Design category at the 2026 Golden Award of Montreux held in Montreux, Switzerland.
With this achievement, Dongseo University has continued its remarkable record of winning a total of nine awards, including Gold Awards, for five consecutive years establishing its position as a globally competitive creative institution.
Founded in 1989, the Golden Award of Montreux is a prestigious international competition that recognizes the most outstanding achievements of the past year in the fields of design, advertising, media, digital, and film.
In particular, the “Montreux Talent Award” category is regarded as one of the world’s leading gateways for emerging talents, attracting students and young creators in design, advertising, and digital content from around the globe. The 2026 winners included young creatives from countries such as South Korea, Germany, the United States, Belgium, Spain, and Brazil. Award-winning works are officially registered in international rankings and promoted through global publicity campaigns.
The winning project was developed through Dongseo University’s “Ideation Convergence Practice” course, taught by Professors Moon Mi-kyeong and Ryu Do-sang.
김민경, a 4th-year student in the Department of Advertising & Public Relations, said “I am delighted that we were able to achieve such meaningful results with the ideas we developed through the Ideation Convergence Practicum class. Throughout the project, I learned and grew so much, and I would like to sincerely thank my teammates and professors for their guidance and support.”
