Professor Okonogi Masao Appointed as Chair-Professor

Professor Okonogi Masao of Keio University in Japan has been appointed to a Chair Professor of the Division of International Studies at Dongseo University. He is an internationally well-known expert on the state of international affairs in the region, including the Korean Peninsula, This semester, he is teaching courses on both Korean and international issues.
Professor Okonogi Masao is very highly regarded, and has been described by Seike Atsushi, President of Keio University, as “one of the superstar class professors whom Keio University takes great pride in.” Professor Okonogi Masao obtained a PhD degree in Law at Keio University, and served there as a faculty member and Dean of the College of Law and Graduate School of Law. He is currently in charge of Korea-Japan New Age Joint Research Project as chairman of the Japanese team.
DSU continues to provide its students with access to international experts such as Director Im Kwon Taek, Former Foreign Minister Gong Ro Myung, and former Member of the Japanese House of Representatives Iwakuni Tetsundo, all of whom are chair-professors.
