Members of the Korean-American Chamber of Commerce, USA (KACCU) paid a visit to Dongseo University (DSU) and concluded a collaboration agreement to foster talented students on the global stage and to support their overseas work.

In the DSU Global Room on November 3, 2011, DSU and KACCU held an agreement-signing ceremony, with 14 major Korean and Korean-American figures in attendance including: Kwon Seok Dae, the President of KACCU; Chung Byung Shik, the Honorary President of KACCU; Richard Cho, the Executive Director of KACCU; and Lee Hong Jae, the Chief Vice President.

DSU and KACCU also discussed opening a joint Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) course to help global business for Koreans abroad and to support DSU students in gaining overseas experience through internships and/or work in overseas companies.

In October 2011, DSU opened its new CEO course at DSU’s U.S. branch campus. This course is offered in partnership with the Korean-American Chamber of Commerce in Orange County, California.

KACCU, which was founded in 1981, is the biggest Korean-American business organization, with 45 branches and over 200,000 members.
