Division of Health Science Students Excel on National Examination

On February 26th, DSU announced that 100% of the students majoring in nursing science, health administration, and dental hygiene successfully passed the recent national examination. According to the official announcement from the Korean National Health Personnel Licensing Examination Board, 46 students majoring in nursing science, 37 majoring in health administration, and 19 majoring in dental hygiene passed the examination. Nationwide, the average pass rate for nursing majors was 96.1%, for the health administration majors 69.3%, and for the dental hygiene majors 90.1%.
The Dean of the Division of Health Sciences, Prof. Ran Won, said “We have initiated a number of programs to help our students succeed. The One-on-One Mentoring program provides students essential career counseling, and special advanced lectures are also offered during vacations to encourage and teach students to study efficiently. Students are also gaining a lot of practical experience through systematic clinical training and simulated training courses in their discipline, thus producing capable and competent medical personnel.”
