Division of Visual Communications Students Win Grand Prize

On October 22nd, at the main KBS building in Seoul, Ji Myeong-Geun, Bae Yeon-Ju, and Lee Ji-Hyeon won the grand prize worth 4 million won for their creative and excellent production titled “Media Blind”. This short documentary is about how people perceive and judge the world through media. The aim of the work is to educate people in media literacy.
Ji Myeong-Geun said, “We are so honored to be recognized for the skills we acquired at DSU. We sincerely appreciate the professors who taught us. I’m so happy that my dream eventually came true through this competition. I will try even harder to bring further honors to DSU”.
KBS will broadcast the award-winning production on Saturday, November 2nd at 3pm.
