The 2012 Dongseo University Entrance Ceremony was held in the Minseok Sports Center on February 27. In his welcoming address, President Chang Jekuk indicated that the university had become one of the top universities in the region and further stated that DSU will devote all of its resources to the future success of this freshmen class. He encouraged the students to gain knowledge in their field of study and to strive to become creative thinkers with challenging spirits, who serve their neighbors and society.
At the ceremony, the new freshmen pledged to become talented students with creativity, professional technology and warm personalities. They will embark on their chosen fields of study with passion, dedication and persistence in order to realize DSU’s philosophy of education, “Before Dongseo, After Dongseo” (BDAD). Dongseo University will lead its students to write a new history of success through the many opportunities provided to them on campus..
Dr. Chang Sung Man, DSU’s founder, said in his congratulatory address, “DSU is a special university which has excellent professors and advanced facilities. I hope that our freshmen study hard and are proud of being DSU students and I trust that they will go on to become talented professionals that help contribute to society’s great leap forward.”
