On October 23rd, the DSU Confucius Academy hosted the Beijing Opera Company in the Sohyang Theater. The Beijing Opera Company is made up of young and competent members including Zheng Shao Hua, a first class actress and the deputy director of the group. The company performed their traditional Chinese operas for the DSU family including the well-known works “Farewell My Concubine,” “Opium Poppy Is Drunk,” and “Sunwukong Makes a Rumpus in the Sea King’s Palace.”
