Agreement Reached with La Salle University

Dongseo University came to an agreement about general interchange and about exchange students with La Salle University, Mexico, on January 27th. Interviews with students who want to study at DSU were done at La Salle University.

Former President of DSU Park Dong Soon, former Executive Vice President, and current President of DSU Chang Jekuk, as well as Dean of the International Exchange & Cooperation Office Chung Chan attended the meeting.

La Salle University became DSU’s 92nd sister university and the first Mexican sister university so far. La Salle is based on Christian values and has five campuses in Mexico. The campus that DSU made an agreement with is located in Laon City (population: 1.3 million), which is an hour south of Mexico City by air. The campus, established in 1968, accommodates approximately 13,000 students. DSU has some things in common with La Salle University, such as departments of Dentistry, Design, Footwear, Tourism, and IT (Information Technology).
