Dongseo University Signs Cooperation Agreement

On May 20th, Dongseo University (DSU) and the Busan Ilbo (the Busan Daily News) signed an academic-industrial cooperation agreement in order to contribute to the development of the regional economy through joint 3D education and technological development.

The President of DSU, Park Dong Soon, the Vice President, Chang Jekuk, and the President of the Busan Ilbo, Kim Jong Ryeol, as well as Director Park Byung Gon, Chief Editor Kim Jong Myung and others, attended the agreement ceremony in the Global Room at DSU.

DSU and the Busan Ilbo agreed to five areas of cooperation: Hosting joint seminars on 3D education and research, jointly operating 3D Exhibition classes for teenagers, promoting 3D media joint projects, cooperating in Dongseo students’ internship and employment, and finally, promoting joint projects related to academic-industrial cooperation. .

President Park said in her speech, “DSU is the first university to open a 3D Exhibition Hall in South Korea, with developing 3D media content. Several institutes at Dongseo are running 3D content projects with independent technology. Meanwhile, the Busan Ilbo is the representative press that secures an amount of valuable contents in the southeast of South Korea. I hope that this cooperation agreement will lead to a win-win development of both institutions.”

Busan Ilbo’s President Kim said, “Colorful Daegu Pre-Championships Meeting on May 19th was broadcast with 3D technology. Indeed, 3D technology is changing our life and the way we look at the world, and it is my wish that DSU and the Busan Ilbo will lead this change together.”
