International Culture Night was held at Nov 12, 2015 at So-hyang Arts Hall located in New Millennium building. It was preceded for an hour and a half with about 350 audiences. It started with a speech of congratulation of Vice President and Band stage comprised of piano, bass guitar and violin.
The countries preparing this event as performers were Pakistan, Malaysia, China, Korea, Indonesia and Uzbekistan. They prepared for performances such as a traditional dance and songs from each nation. Even though there were no much time for preparing the event, all the participants showed wonderful performances. Also participants showed the short video which indicated how to prepare this event before a choir stage. This showed well how much time they did make preparations for International Culture Night for two months.
Especially, in the last sequence, about 70 students sang together as a choir. They sang two songs which are “A spring of the hometown” and “Amateur”. After the stages, the audiences gave them round of applause. It was really meaningful in that only DSU students prepared this event from the beginning to the end as participants and also staff. This event finished with photo session to celebrate the 1st International Culture Night.
