Forum Held for Presidents of Asian Universities

Former Executive Vice President and current President of Dongseo University Chang Jekuk together with Dean of International Exchange & Cooperation Chung Chan attended the 9th Asian University Presidents’ Forum 2010 (AUPF 2010), which was held in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, from December 15th to 18th. AUPF, which seeks international cooperation between Asian universities, has a network of fifty members, most of whom are presidents of Asian universities.
DSU introduced a variety of global programs in this forum. The university presidents from other countries were interested in DSU’s Study Abroad Program as well as its establishment of branch campuses at Zhongnan University of Economics and Law in China and at Hope International University in the U.S.A.
DSU made an agreement with three universities in Cambodia: the University of Cambodia, Norton University, and the Cambodian University for Specialities. It also made an agreement with two universities in Sudan, Africa: Nile Valley University and Sinnar University.
Classes at the University of Cambodia are given in English and 80% of the students are given a scholarship. Norton University is the oldest and the best private university in Cambodia.
