Smart Generation Lab, affiliated with the Department of Computer Engineering at Dongseo University, focuses on researching next-generation intelligent systems that transform the world through Generative AI and Computer Vision technologies.
We specialize in the efficient utilization of open-source models, optimization of Large Language Models (LLMs) in local environments, and virtual convergence technologies designed to solve real-world problems.

• 생성형 AI 및 미디어 합성: 오픈소스 기반 텍스트-투-이미지/비디오/오디오 생성 기술 및 최신 생성 모델 응용 연구
• 컴퓨터 비전: 딥러닝 기반 이미지 분석, 객체 인식 및 시스템 설계
• 로컬 LLM 및 에지 AI: Ollama, LM Studio 등을 활용한 온디바이스/로컬 대규모 언어 모델 최적화 및 활용
• 가상 융합 기술: AI 융합 교육 및 가상 환경에서의 지능형 인터랙션 기술
Our lab conducts in-depth exploration into the following core areas:
• Generative AI & Media Synthesis: Research on open-source-based Text-to-Image/Video/Audio generation and applications of the latest generative models
• Computer Vision: Deep learning-based image analysis, object recognition, and system design
• Local LLM & Edge AI: Optimization and application of on-device/local LLMs using tools like Ollama and LM Studio
• Virtual Convergence Technology: AI-integrated education and intelligent interaction technologies in virtual environments
