Professor O'Malley was a panel discussant at the book launch event for "Korea Matters for America, America Matters for Korea."

The book was developed by the East-West Center of Washington, D.C., who received event coordination with the Asan Institute of Seoul and the Korea Institute of International Policy Studies. The event took place August 29, 2018, in Busan's K-Move Center.
