2013 DSU LINC FAIR

The opening ceremony of the 2013 DSU-LINC FAIR was held at the New Millennium Building on the 5th and 6th of December. Company representatives and students shared information about achievements in research, business and employment. DSU-LINC is helping to vitalize Korea’s creative economy. The fair’s program included 30 events.
The program consisted of an opening ceremony, cultural events and presentations on the achievements of LINC businesses. A Capstone Design Program Contest and an Exhibition of Capstone Design Achievements were also held.
In the Entrepreneurship Education section of the program, a contest for creative ideas was held. A special lecture on the creative economy was also given and some presentations were offered relating to DSU-MADE IP OPEN AUCTION, the foundation club and the prep entrepreneurs back-up program.
Guest speakers included Seo Tae-geon and Kim Sam-moon. Seo Tae-geon is the President of Busan IT Industry Promotion Agency (BIPA) and Kim Sam-moon is the President of Busan Information Technology Association.
An exhibition of achievements in distributive research was held which included a conference on industry-university cooperative research. Attendees of the fair were able to discover how DSU-LINC FAIR has been working with Class Selling and DSU Made.
Class Selling is where a professor and students work together on specific job-related training involving technological developments partly commissioned by industry affiliates. DSU Made aims to commercialize the outstanding results of Capstone Design.
IPR Open Market (Intellectual Property Rights) is a DSU LINC Fair program that is used by professors and students when publicly promoting intellectual property.
Jo Dae-su, Leader of INC Project said, “Today, you can see DSU’s results of research, business and employment that have been achieved through the LINC Project. DSU will be a leader in the realization of the creative economy.”
