Dongseo University President Park Dong Soon was awarded the ‘Greatest Executive Leadership of the year 2010’award for value management on March 4th at Millennium Hilton Hotel in Seoul. This ceremony was hosted by the JoongAng Daily News and the Ministry of Knowledge Economy. At this ceremony, 32 chief executive officers were chosen for awards in 15 sectors including value management, sustainable management, and global management.

Of those prize winners, 13 are representatives of public institutions, 12 are CEOs of large companies, and seven are leaders of mid-sized companies. They are felt to have established creative innovation through new vision and ideas. The awardees were judged by the selection committee (chaired by Professor Hwang In Tae of JoongAng University) and TNS Korea, a market research company.

President Park was awarded for her management ability in developing DSU to prominent status nationwide in a short time through specialization and a campus without borders.

President Park said, “It is my mission to develop DSU under the slogan of ‘Top Ten and To the World.’ I am going to help DSU students benefit from the best education through creative and thorough management.”
