Dongseo University held its first annual Korean Culture Day on November 12 at the sports field. Around 350 international students participated in cultural activities and games. The event had ten booths for Korean cultural activities, six different games, and sixteen programs.

Many international students recorded precious moments, such as following Samulnori and Taekwondo; making fans and masks; wearing hanbok and traditional uniforms; playing traditional games like Jegichagi and Tuho; making traditional kites and flying them; trying calligraphy and Korean painting; and watching Korean dramas and films. They also practiced teamwork by playing games including the OX game, shoe-tossing, arm wrestling, bearing-a-plate long jump, group jump-rope, and pierrot. Many rewards and prizes including eco bags and cultural merchandise certificates were given to the participants.
