Presidential Award Received by DSU Student

On December 18th, Kim Tae-jin, a DSU Fashion Design student, won a Presidential Award worth three million won for his creative potential and competence at the Sejong Center for Performing Arts in Seoul. The Presidential Award is given by the Ministry of Education and the Korea Foundation for the Advancement of Science and Creativity.
In 2012, Kim Tae-jin won prizes at the Red Dot Design Award in Germany and the Sparks Awards in New York. In 2013, he was honored at the International Design Excellence Award (IDEA) competition, the International Forum (IF) Award competition, and the Universal Design Award competition. Also, he qualified for membership in Korea Design at the Busan Design Center.
After winning the Presidential Award he said, "Receiving such an honorable and significant prize is the realization of a dream. I'm so thankful for the assistance and enthusiastic support of my professors and friends at Dongseo University and the Busan Design Center."
