Research on Individual Thesis | This course examines each student’s thesis topic with a professor. After each student’s topic is personally set based on Business Administration Methodology, this course promotes the topic in a logical and creative fashion |
Research Methodology | Students learn how to set a research topic, write a research proposal, perform a literature review, analyze data and write a thesis to build the ability to conduct research. |
Statistics | This course covers statistics needed in studying occupational therapy. Specifically, theories concerning about descriptive statistics, confidence interval, hypothesis testing and correlation. In addition, students learn diverse statistical methods which would be applied. |
Advanced Geriatric Rehabilitation | Students learn the latest theories about occupational therapy for geriatric diseases through lecture and training. |
Advanced Neuro-RehabilitationⅠ | Students analyze and study diverse therapeutic approaches which have a positive influence on a patient’s life based on their neurological knowledge on central nervous system diseases such as stroke, cerebral palsy, spinal cord injury and degenerative central nervous system disorder. |
Occupational Therapy Seminar | Students discuss and make a presentation on the latest research trends in occupational therapy through academic database, research foundation programs, Ministry of Science and ICT and others. |
Cognitive Rehabilitation | This course covers treatment skills given through real-life adaptation training for a patient with brain damage such as memory impairment, emotional confusion and accidental disorder. |
Neuroscience | This course enables a more scientific therapeutic approach by examining neuroscientific grounds for occupational therapy and analyzes and integrates such single grounds from a macro-perspective. |
Rehabilitation Seminar | Students discuss and make a presentation on the latest research trends in domestic and overseas rehabilitation evaluation and treatment. |
Advanced Theory in Occupational Therapy | This course examines the background and clinical trials of approaches used in occupational therapy such as development, perception, cognition and sensation. |
Advanced Community based OT | This course covers theories, modeling, development, execution and evaluation for occupational therapy in a local community in diverse sectors such as children, adolescents, adults, senior citizens and mental health through lecture and training. |
Assistive Technology | Students learn the development mechanism and application of measuring instruments, evaluation tools and auxiliary tools used in rehabilitation. |
Research in Motion Analysis | This course experiments and analyzes activity/motion signals through literature review, analyzes results and prepares a research report. |
Advanced Pediatric Therapy | This course examines, analyzes and integrates the latest pediatric therapy interventions, evaluation tools and researches on diseases in babies and children. |
Management in Rehabilitation | Students learn how to manage the organization efficiently as specialists in medical law, medical policy, hospital & institution management and rehabilitation. |
Meta-Analysis Research | Students learn how to collect the studies on the effects of rehabilitation therapies such as occupational therapy, perform meta-analysis according to the meta-analysis method and suggest results through lecture and training. |
Health Care SeminarⅠ | Students explore research topics for multidisciplinary approaches on a client’s health such as nursing, dental hygiene, kinesiology and occupational therapy, perform researches and analyze and suggest results. |
Experimental EMG Research | Students experience and analyze ENG signals through literature review, analyze results and prepare a research report. |
Single Subject Design | Students design an experimental research against few patients and learn how to study in a scientific way. |
Clinical Research on Occupational Therapy | This course is a preliminary study performed prior to the Ph.D. degree study. Students plan, implement and analyze an experiment, suggest results and prepare a report. Such processes help them design and set a direction for a Ph.D. degree paper. |
Development and Application of Assessment | Students learn occupational therapy evaluation tools, understand how to they are developed and develop proper occupational therapy evaluation tools according to Korean culture and society. |
Occupational Therapy: Qualitative study | This course covers research methods from phenomenology and examines the latest qualitative research methods used in occupational therapy. It also performs qualitative research, collect data and suggest results. |
Advanced Evaluation & Measurement | Students learn how to evaluate and measure subjects in rehabilitation therapy through lecture and training. |
