Division of Open Major Studies at Dongseo University is an open and flexible, student-centered department, newly established for the 2025 academic year. Its goal is to cultivate future knowledge convergence talents with upright spirituality and character.

During the first semester of their freshman year, students can freely take foundational liberal arts courses, knowledge convergence education, and basic major courses. This allows them to explore their interests and aptitudes before selecting the most suitable major to continue their studies.
