About the Department

Our department has concentrated on developing energy and life science through high-tech R&Ds and innovation. Our ultimate goal is to nurture professionals who could play a leading role in the Era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

We have pursued basic, applied and convergence researches, focusing on organic synthesis, bio-food/medicine and biomedical engineering. In particular, we have developed new technologies and processes through R&Ds on organic solar cells & transistors, skin regeneration, Microbiome and multiplex system.

In addition to such research activities, we have made continued efforts to build a sustainable future with the latest technologies and professional knowledge in cooperation with diverse organizations such as government agencies, colleges and private companies.
