GLAP (Global Liberal Arts Program) comprises Liberal Arts courses taught in English. Classes covering various topics are opened each year to help students expand their knowledge through English.

Motified information : The time of OTC (3 hours -> 2 hours)


1. Purpose
This program gives students the opportunity to improve understanding in global communication and to cultivate global leadership by studying together with other students from all around the world.

(7) Understanding World Poverty (Laura Stephenson)
-> General Liberal Arts (Humanities and Social Sciences)

(8) Entrepreneurship and Startup (Laura Stephenson)
-> Creative Foundational Studies

(9) Strategic Leadership (Michael Bryant)
-> General Liberal Arts (Humanities and Social Sciences)

(10) Popular Culture and Narrative (Thomas Humpal)
-> Creative Convergence Studies

(11) The Role of Philosophy, Science and Economy in Technological Development

* These courses are each worth two credits.


3. Target Students
All registered students may take GLAP courses but they should have a CBT (TOEIC) score of at least 600.


4. Registration period
- Course pre-registration period: Feb. 11th - 12th, 2016
- Course registration period: Feb. 17th – 19th, 2016
- Drop and Add period: Mar. 2nd – 8th, 2016
(Registration for GLAP classes can be done during the registration periods in the same way as with other Liberal Arts classes.)
