To strengthen water security capacity in response to groundwater-related Water Bankruptcy situations, the Korea Institute of Geoscience and Mineral Resources (KIGAM) will host a training program for international students from developing countries currently residing in Korea. Interested students are encouraged to apply!
- Program Title: Joint Capacity Building Program for Next Generation Water Security Leaders with a Focus on Groundwater
To strengthen water security capacity in response to groundwater-related Water Bankruptcy situations, the Korea Institute of Geoscience and Mineral Resources (KIGAM) will host a training program for international students from developing countries currently residing in Korea. - Theme: Sustainable groundwater quantity and quality management in the era of Water Bankruptcy
- Schedule / Venue: June 29 (Mon) – July 4 (Sat), 2026 / Daejeon, Jeju
- Target Participants: 10 international students from developing countries enrolled in water-related majors at Korean universities (undergraduate or graduate)
- Tuition Fee: Free of charge (see attachment)

- Application Period: May 11 (Mon) – May 26 (Tue), 2025, 18:00
- Schedule / Venue: June 29 (Mon) – July 4 (Sat), 2026 / Daejeon, Jeju

지하수 분야의 수자원파산(Water Bankruptcy) 상황에 대응하기 위한 물안보 역량 강화를 목적으로 한국지질자원연구원(KIGAM)과 협력하여 국내 체류 중인 개도국 유학생을 대상으로 지하수 분야 물안보 교육 과정을 아래와 같이 운영할 예정입니다. 관심있는 학생들은 참여 바랍니다! ✨
