Recruitment Notice for Youth Ambassadors with Migrant Backgrounds
The Ministry of Justice seeks to appoint youth with migrant backgrounds who have overcome linguistic and cultural challenges and successfully settled in Korea as Youth Ambassadors in order to share their success stories and support the adaptation of younger youth with migrant backgrounds.
※ Implementation of the Youth with Migrant Background Growth Support Initiative under the "2030 Immigration Policy Future Strategy"
ㅇ (Number of Positions) Approximately 30 persons in total
(※ Approximately 1–2 persons from each Immigration Office)
ㅇ (Eligibility Requirements)
① Students with migrant backgrounds who are currently enrolled in a high school or university in Korea
② Aged 17 to 24 as of the application date
③ Korean nationals (including naturalized citizens) or foreign nationals
(※ Applicants must satisfy all of the above requirements: ①, ②, and ③.)

- Children from international marriage families
- Students who were born overseas and entered Korea following the immigration of either their father or mother to Korea
- Children from families in which both the parents and the student hold foreign nationality
ㅇ (Areas of Activity) Participation in and appearance in educational content production, including the Early Adaptation Program; mentoring activities for youth with migrant backgrounds; activities as part of the Ministry of Justice Policy Promotion Team; etc.
ㅇ (Term of Service) Two years from the date of appointment
(※ May be reappointed up to two times based on activity performance.)
ㅇ (Selection Process) Document screening (Round 1) → Interview screening (Round 2)
※ Candidates will be selected by the Local Immigration Office through its affiliated Local Social Integration Advisory Committee.
