The ADCC (Asia Design College Consortium) International Design Conference goes beyond a simple academic exchange by regularly organizing design education forums, workshops, exhibitions, and academic events that promote the exchange of design cultures among Asian countries and the sharing of research achievements among participating universities. Through these activities, ADCC seeks to foster educational and cultural collaboration beyond national boundaries while strengthening the global perspectives and creative capacities of next-generation designers.

■ Overview :
The 2025 ADCC Forum featured presentations and discussions led by Dean Juyoung Chang of the Dongseo University College of Design, former Professor Robert Chen of De Montfort University (UK), Professor Makoto Watanabe of Chiba University (Japan), Professor Melanie Sarantou of Kyushu University (Japan), and Professor Chen Chien-Hsu of National Cheng Kung University (Taiwan). The speakers shared cases of educational innovation at their respective institutions and engaged in in-depth discussions on the future role and direction of design education.
The roundtable discussion that followed included Ken Nah, Chief Designer of Busan Metropolitan City, Professor Kuo Jo-Yu of National Cheng Kung University (Taiwan), Professor Kim Jae-Hong of Dong-A University, and Professors Lee Seong-Pil, Choi Won-Ho, and Lee Yong-Gi of Dongseo University. Centered on the six core collaboration themes established by ADCC, participants explored sustainable strategies for future cooperation. The participating universities also jointly presented the “ADCC Declaration on Design Education,” expressing their shared vision and social commitment through design education.
