As a platform for sharing and expanding the outcomes of global design education and research, this competition promotes the implementation of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) while contributing to the development of ethical collaboration capabilities and global perspectives among next-generation designers. In addition, outstanding achievements are connected with international awards and exhibitions to strengthen Busan’s identity as a global hub for design education and research, while also contributing to the formation of an international design community supporting Busan’s bid for World Design Capital (WDC) 2028.
