In order to respond to the trend of the times in which international exchanges are becoming more active and the cultural tourism industry is emerging as a central industry for the country, we offer a variety of curricula to cultivate international experts with proficient English speaking skills.

    - All enrolled students decide on their career track in their second year.

    - We operate a career track professor system where 1-2 advisors are assigned to each track to provide guidance.

- We provide direct support for career development by assigning 1 professor to each research group within each career track.

-We aim to achieve practical results by presenting the outcomes of research group activities at academic festivals.

  • Offering an English-Software Engineering convergence major that integrates humanities and software engineering.
  • Studying natural language processing courses to scientifically analyze language based on English proficiency.
  • Proficient in developing language (English)-related programs such as voice recognition, data analysis, and app services with language data processing capabilities.
  • Dedicated classes are designed for students in the English department to facilitate learning from the basic level.
  • Boasting an excellent scholarship system, where 50% of applicants for interdisciplinary majors can benefit from scholarships.

Operation of a global leader development internationalization program

- Offers the opportunity to participate in an overseas language study and exchange program in English-speaking countries for two semesters.

-To facilitate this, we operate an international program in three stages.

Stage 1: First Year English Intensive Program

- The first-year curriculum emphasizes practical English courses taught by native and Korean professors.

Develop basic English skills through placement.

Stage 2: International Program for Lower Grades

- Various programs held in Korea with international students from Dongseo University for 1st and 2nd-year students

Provides opportunities to participate in international programs

Participation in the following programs is encouraged:

-Global Program: 1-year English intensive program for first-year students Go 

-Global Program: Language exchange program in connection with the overseas Dongseo University Korean Language Institute 

-DSU Buddy Program: Language exchange program with international students at Dongseo University 

-International Camp: 2 days and 1-night international camp with international students 

-One-Day Trip: A one-day trip with an international student.

Stage 3: Senior International Program

- Various programs for 3rd and 4th-year students to participate abroad for an extended period (one semester).

Provides opportunities to participate in international programs.

Participation in the following programs is encouraged: (Depending on the program, you may receive support for local tuition, airfare, and part of the dormitory fee.)

- Study Abroad Program – USA (SAP-USA): One semester of language study in the United States

-Exchange Student: Take classes related to your major for one semester at an English-speaking overseas sister university and earn credits

-Asia Summer Program: Earn credits and experience culture at sister universities in overseas Asia during summer vacation
