초록

본 연구는 여성친화도시이론과 도시재생이론 상관된 경험을 바탕으로 페미니스트 지리학의 관점에서 여성친화적 도시재생을 분석하였다. 도시재생 시대에 여성이 도시공간을 잘 활용해야 될 것이다. 출산을 권장하는 정책적 주장은 실현 가능성이 부족하다면 육아환경이 좋지 않을 뿐만 아니라 여성의 자아실현요구도 어려워질 것이다. 한국‘여성친화도시’의 구조가 대부분은 거시적 차원(정책, 법률, 경제, 시설, 사회활동 등)의 목표를 지향하고 있다. 한국은 여성과 공간의 관계에 대한 연구가 이미 많이 있지만 도시재생공간의 구조를 세부적으로 분석하여 여성의 일상생활 중에 있는 일·육아(출산)의 모순을 해결하고자 하는 연구의 수는 매우 부족한 현실이다. 이는 페미니스트 지리학이 실천과정을 거치면서 겪게 되는 매우 현실적인 문제라고 볼 수 있다.
본 연구의 목적은 페미니스트 지리학 관점에서 출발해 여성친화도시 환경의 평가기준을 수립함으로써, 기존 여성친화도시와 도시재생 이론에서 간과된 문제점을 보완하기 위한 것이다. 여성친화적 도시재생에 영향을 미치는 도시적 관점에 기반한 요소를 도출하여, 평가지표의 정량적 기준을 확립하고자 한다.
본 연구의 방법론으로는 사례분석법과 ANP법을 사용하였다. 그중 ANP법은 다시 전문가 인터뷰와 설문조사로 나누어 진행하였다.
제1장에서는 연구의 배경과 목적, 연구의 범위와 연구내용을 기술하고 문제점을 제시하였다.
제2장에서는 1970년대부터 지금까지 이루어진 주요 페미니스트 지리학 문헌을 이론적 기초로 삼아, 한국의‘여성친화도시’와 관련된 정책과 이론을 대상으로 문헌연구를 진행하고, 이를 서양의 페미니스트 지리학의 발전방향과 결합하여 여성친화적 도시재생에 부합하는 이론을 체계화하였다. 선행연구 고찰을 통하여 관련 문헌(텍스트, 이미지, 기호, 동영상, 음향 등 역사적 가치, 이론적 가치, 자료 가치가 있는 문헌들)을 분석 정리하여, 선행연구 중 여성친화적 도시재생에 도움이 되는 이론 요소들을 도출하였다. 문헌 연구를 통해 서양의 페미니스트 지리학과 한국의‘여성친화도시’와의 유기적인 관계를 도출하였다. 이를 통해 도시재생 평가모형에 활용할 수 있는 표현적 특징을 정리할 수 있었다.
제3장에서는 서양의 페미니스트 지리학이 1970년대-90년대 동안 활약했던 여성친화도시 공간의 우수 사례를 분석하였다. 사례분석을 통해, 여성의 직장과 육아에 대한 모순은 물리적 환경에서 발생하는 문제점을 발견하였다. 도시재생을 통해 이를 효과적으로 개선할 수 있는 방법을 찾고, 기존에 도출했던 표현적 특징을 분석 기준으로 삼아 세부적으로 질적 평가를 진행하였다. ANP법을 통해 기존에 얻었던 평가지표를 계량화한 결과 각 지표의 중요도를 얻을 수 있었다. 또한 여성이 적극적으로 도시재생 사업에 참여할 수 있도록 독려할 수 있는 질적 평가 지표를 개발할 수 있었다.
제4장에서는 제3장을 바탕으로 사례분석, ANP법과 설문조사의 결과를 종합하고 서술하였다. 평가지표 중 중요도가 높은 지표에 대한 해석을 진행하였다.
제5장에서는 연구내용을 종합하여 결론을 도출하고 향후 여성친화적 도시재생에서 보다 심도 있게 고민하고 나아가야 할 방향을 제시하였다.

摘要

该研究以女性亲和城市理论和城市再生理论相关的经验为基础，从女权主义地理学的观点分析了女性亲和型城市再生。在城市再生时代，女性应该好好利用城市空间。鼓励生育的政策主张如果实现可能性不足，不仅育儿环境不好，而且女性自我实现的要求也会变得困难。韩国"女性亲和城市"的结构大部分指向宏观层面（政策、法律、经济、设施、社会活动等）的目标。韩国对女性与空间关系的研究已经很多，但具体分析城市再生空间结构、解决女性日常生活中的工作、育儿（生育）矛盾的研究数量却非常不足。可以说，这是女权主义地理学在实践过程中遇到的非常现实的问题。
本研究的目的是从女权主义地理学观点出发，通过树立女性亲和城市环境的评价标准，弥补现有女性亲和城市和城市再生理论中忽略的问题。导出以影响女性亲和型城市再生观点为基础的要素，确立评价指标的定量标准。
本研究方法使用了案例分析法和ANP法。其中，ANP法再次分为专家访谈和问卷调查来进行。
第一章阐述了研究背景和目的、研究的范围和研究内容，提出了问题。
第2章将1970年代至今形成的主要女权主义地理学文献作为理论基础，以韩国"女性亲和城市"相关政策和理论为对象进行文献研究，结合西方女权主义地理学的发展方向，将符合女性亲和型城市再生的理论系统化。通过先行研究考察，分析整理了相关文献（文献、图像、符号、视频、音响等具有历史价值、理论价值、资料价值的文献），并导出了先行研究中有助于女性亲和性城市再生的理论要素。通过文献研究，推导出西方的女权主义地理学和韩国"女性亲和性城市"的有机关系。通过这些，可以梳理出应用到城市再生评价模型的表现性特征。
在第三章中，分析了西方女权主义者地理学活跃的1970年代~90年代女性亲和城市空间的优秀事例。 通过案例分析，发现女性职场和育儿之间的矛盾在物理环境中产生的问题。通过城市再生寻找改善的有效方法，以现有的表现特征为分析标准，进行了详细的质量评价。通过ANP法将现有的评价指标进行量化，结果得到了各指标的重要度。另外，还开发出了鼓励女性积极参与城市再生事业的质量评价指标。
第4章以第3章为基础，综合并叙述事例分析、ANP法和问卷调查的结果，对评价指标中重要度较高的指标进行了解释。
第5章综合研究内容得出结论，提示了今后在女性亲和型城市再生中更深入思考的方向。

Abstract

The population and the fertility rate will decrease during the process of urban development. Today, the situation is worsening. With regard to urban design and policy, women should make full use of urban space during the urban regeneration period. Parenting policies should take women's pursuit of self-realization and feasible parenting conditions into account. The construction of most female-friendly cities in South Korea is at a macro level (policy, law, economy, facilities, social activities, etc.). Although a number of studies in South Korea have explored the relationship between women and space, the number of researches targeting to solve the contradiction between work and childcare (childbirth) in women's daily life through detailed analysis of the structure of urban regeneration space is insufficient. How feminist geography fits into practice is a very practical issue.
Based on major feminist geography studies from the 1970s to the present, this research conducts a literature survey of policies and theories related to "sister cities" in South Korea, and combines them with the development trend of western feminist geography to construct a female-friendly urban regeneration theory. In order to review previous research, relevant documents (such as texts, images, symbols, videos, audios, etc.) were studied and sorted out, and the theoretical elements that conduce to perfect female-friendly cities were proposed. The practice of western feminist geography in the feminist-friendly urban space from the 1970s to the 1990s are of great significance to South Korea at this stage.
The purpose of this research is to build a system to assess the factors that influence the revival of female-friendly cities. This thesis mainly includes the following three parts.
Firstly, the connection between the western feminist geography and the female-friendly cities in South Korea is found and the performance characteristics that can be used to construct an urban regeneration evaluation model are sorted out through the literature review.
Secondly, the problems in the contradiction between women's work and child rearing are found in the physical environment, the methods that can be effectively improved through urban regeneration are figured out, and detailed qualitative evaluation indicators are obtained by taking on the previously concluded performance characteristics as the analysis standard through the case study.
Lastly, the ANP method was applied to quantify the previously obtained evaluation indicators to get the importance degree of each indicator, so as to develop quantitative evaluation indicators that can encourage women to actively participate in the urban regeneration and provide a theoretical reference for the realization of urban regeneration of the female-friendly cities in South Korea.
