We are pleased to announce the 2025 ICT Complex "PIUDA Project," a software development contest organized by the Ministry of Science and ICT. Participants are invited to propose and develop innovative software solutions to improve the quality of life and welfare of socially disadvantaged groups.
■ Theme
Develop software solutions to improve the lives and welfare of socially disadvantaged individuals, including persons with disabilities, the elderly, and people with borderline intellectual functioning.
 - Each team must select one sub-theme from the poster and indicate the corresponding topic number in the application form.
 - Only one project may be submitted per team.
   ※ Hardware development to support the software solution is also allowed.
■ Eligibility
Anyone interested in the theme may apply as an individual or in teams of up to 5 members.
※ All team members must register on the ICT Complex website before the application deadline.
■ Project Timeline
 ① Application Period: April 14 (Mon) – May 13 (Tue), 22:00 (Late submissions will not be accepted)
 ② Preliminary Document Review & Team Selection: May 14 (Wed) – May 15 (Thu)
 ③ Development Period: May 16 (Fri) – July 27 (Sun)
 ④ Orientation: May 21 (Wed)
 ⑤ Mid-Term Presentation & Finalist Selection: June 25 (Wed) – June 26 (Thu)
 ⑥ Final Presentation & Award Ceremony: July 31 (Thu)
■ How to Apply

※ Supporting documents (e.g., awards, papers, certificates, degrees) and reference materials must be compressed and submitted together with the application form.
■ Awards
 - Grand Prize (1 team): Certificate (from NIPA President) + KRW 3,000,000
 - Excellence Award (2 teams): Certificate (from NIPA President) + KRW 2,000,000 each
 - Encouragement Award (3 teams): Certificate (from NIPA President) + KRW 1,000,000 each
 - Special Awards (3 teams): One team per field with certificate from:
   * Korean Association of Welfare Institutions for the Disabled
   * Korea Association of Senior Welfare Centers
   * Lifelong Education Center for People with Borderline Intelligence
 ★ Outstanding projects may be selected for pilot applications in social welfare institutions ★
    (Note: Projects must meet quality and feasibility standards for pilot application selection.)
■ Support Provided
 - Development Space & Equipment: Dedicated seats, PCs, smart devices, server PCs, etc.
 - Expert Mentoring: Professional guidance and feedback during development
 - Commercialization Support: Business support following pilot application for outstanding solutions
■ Notes
 - If any information in the application is found to be false, the selection will be canceled.
 - Projects that are already complete or commercially released will be disqualified.
 - The submitting team bears full responsibility for any copyright infringement or illegal use of third-party materials.
