    Jung Hee Yu, Ph.D. is a multidisciplinary scholar whose expertise spans Tourism and Hospitality Business, Marketing and Consumer Behavior, Digital Media and Social Media Engagement, Finance and Strategic Management, and Communication and Cross-Cultural Competence. Her academic journey began with a strong foundation in sustainable tourism and hospitality, developed through advanced coursework and professional experience in international convention management and hospitality finance. Building on this base, her doctoral dissertation, The Effects of Digital Content on Customer Engagement Across Different Travel Purposes (2021), positioned her at the intersection of tourism, digital marketing, and consumer behavior. She has since expanded her research portfolio through publications on social capital, brand loyalty, digital communication, accounting practices, and social media adoption in hospitality and club management. Her teaching portfolio is equally diverse, covering Digital Marketing, Brand Management, Consumer Behavior, Strategic and Financial Management, and Tourism Development, while her industry background at COEX and St. Regis Hotels & Resorts provides practical grounding to her scholarship. Complemented by her cross-cultural teaching and communication experience, Dr. Yu embodies an interdisciplinary academic profile that connects business, design, and media in both theory and practice.
