Damia Batrisyia binti Ahmad Faizal, President of Dongseo University’s Wellness Research Lab and a senior GBA student from Malaysia, has been selected as a finalist in the Shark Tank of Wellness competition. Her success secures Dongseo University a place on the official program of the 2025 Global Wellness Summit, to be held in Dubai from November 18–21.

The Global Wellness Summit is a premier annual gathering where leaders from business, government, academia, and science shape the future of the multitrillion-dollar wellness economy. Renowned as a hub for innovative thinking, ground-breaking research, and high-level networking, the Summit rotates its location each year and is recognized as the event where global wellness business gets done.

Damia’s selection includes full sponsorship of travel, lodging, and participation for both her and her advisor. She will also be awarded US$2,000–5,000, depending on her final performance.
