Applied Artificial Intelligence

An interdisciplinary major designed to cultivate creative, industry-ready AI talent who can apply artificial intelligence and software technologies to solve real-world problems across diverse industries.

About Interdisciplinary Majors at Dongseo

Interdisciplinary Majors at Dongseo University are programs developed under the university's strategic specialization plan, focusing on emerging fields driven by future societal demand. These programs do not admit incoming freshmen — instead, current students from any undergraduate program may apply to enroll from their second year onward.

Applied Artificial Intelligence is one such interdisciplinary major, available in three tracks: Primary Major, Double Major, or Minor. Students choose the track that best fits their academic plan and career goals.

About the Program

The Applied Artificial Intelligence major at Dongseo University's International College is an interdisciplinary program that prepares students to lead innovation in the AI era. Rather than focusing solely on theoretical AI research, the program emphasizes the practical application of AI technologies in industry settings — equipping students with the skills to design, build, deploy, and operate AI systems across fields such as healthcare, finance, manufacturing, and cloud services.

Conducted entirely in English, the program is open to students from diverse backgrounds and supports international collaboration through joint educational partnerships with overseas universities.
