With the educational goal of fostering professional business administrators with creativity and business experience to meet the global standards, the Department of Business Administration, strive to maximize the potential of students who will join society after graduation.

Established in 1995, the department has achieved great success with approximately 1,400 students enrolled as of 2015, and positioned itself as a new rising prestigious school by accomplishing to award gold prizes in various college student academic competitions against existing prestigious universities.

In particular, the Department of Business Administration was appointed to conduct the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) Professionals Nurturing Project as part of the NURI (New University for Regional Innovation) program organized by the Ministry of Education & Human Resources Development and therefore was provided with KRW 5 billion for 5 years (2004-2009) from the government, and was also selected to perform the Marketing Capacity Building project for Small and Middle-sized Enterprisers in 2009.

Faculty members of the department endeavor to foster essential elements for future-oriented business administrators, such as global, creative, and business mind in foreign students. In addition, they strive to nurture future CEOs by providing students with differentiated education courses from other departments, including teaching Korean language, giving opportunities to experience Korean culture, and providing practical knowledge, on-site experience, and advices for start-up companies. As part of the efforts to support practical knowledge, VOICE program has been in place since 2013. VOICE is a unique educational program nurturing future business professionals through exchanging Ideation, Creation, and Evolution in a Virtual Office.
