[Application for Major/Department Change in 2022]

1. Qualification
-Students currently enrolled in their 1st - 3rd year
-Average GPA should be 2.0 or higher.
-Students in leave of absence in 2022 spring semester cannot apply this year.
-Transfer students can apply in their 2nd and 3rd semester.

2. Application Period
-January 10-11, 2022: Application
-January 13-14, 2022: Interview
-January 19, 2022: Result Announcement

3. Procedure
1) Consult with your academic advisor
2) Visit International College Office to get necessary forms
3) Meet with a professor in the major/department you want to move to (IC Office will arrange a meeting for you)
4) Fill out a "Pre-interview Record" form and get it signed by your academic advisor and IC Office.
5) Submit the completed pre-interview record form to IC Office during the application period by January 10.
6) Apply in the Student Support System and fill out an application form at IC Office during the application period (January 10-11, 2022)
7) Have an interview at the major/department you want to move to during the interview period (January 13-14, 2022)
8) Submit the completed application form to Academic Affairs Office by January 17
9) Check the result on January 19 at IC Office

*Major/Department Change is possible in the spring semester only, once in a year.
**Please note that your applicaion might not be accepted in the major/department you apply for after an interview.
If your application is not accepted, you cannot change your major/department.
***Please take time to discuss it with your academic advisor before application.
