Graduation Regulation

  1. Background and purpose.

1-1. Establish graduation rules and suggest the necessary standards for application.

1-2. Nurture talent who leads the creative content development, it supports individuals' unique capabilities to be maximized.

  1. Major contents.

2-1 Based on the contents applied and the distinctiveness of the educational method in which each major and industry-academia are fused on the graduation rules, detailed regulations shall be specified and implemented by dividing it into three areas: industry-academia, research, and others.

2-2. It is based on the essential points of content to be evaluated for final graduation considering the purpose of learning, including major, performance, industry-academia cooperation, and employment, through continuous preparation of the student's portfolio with each unique character and production of works related to the function of more than one area, the prospective graduate derives the results of a distinctive self-brand and is evaluated for final graduation.

① Graduation Assessment refers to 2 stages of review: The first and final assessment.

② The first assessment is a preliminary evaluation intended to prepare for the final assessment (main examination).

③ The final assessment (main examination) means the final graduation assessment.

2-3. Formation of the Graduation Assessment Committee

① ‘Graduation Assessment Committee’ is formed to promo

te graduation assessment.

② Graduation Assessment Committee Chairman: With the approval of the dean of the International College (IC), one of the graduation assessment committee members is appointed as the chairman of the graduation assessment committee.

③ Graduation Assessment Committee Member: The chairperson of the graduation assessment committee shall appoint the professors and industry experts in the relevant major. Three graduation assessment committee members will be selected from inside the school for the first assessment. For the final assessment (main examination), five or more members of the graduation assessment committee (including one external expert for each major) will be selected.

④ Prospective graduate representative: One prospective graduate representative for each major is recommended and elected and assists in the graduation assessment work (contact, preparation, progress, etc.).

⑤ Administrative Officer: The chairperson of the Graduation Assessment Committee appoints an administrative officer necessary for the graduation class.

2-4. The duties of the graduation assessment committee and the chairman of the graduation assessment committee

① The chairperson of the graduation assessment committee plans and promotes the schedules and contents necessary for assessment, such as the first and final assessment.

② The Graduation assessment Committee analyzes the first and final assessment results and the graduation works of prospective graduates.

  1. Preparatory procedures for graduation application

3-1. Details of the preliminary review of the qualification for applying for bachelor thesis work

  • Graduation candidates must receive an evaluation of their portfolio and bachelor’s thesis.

② Portfolio: Portfolio composition is based on the student's choice, but after consultation with the supervisor, the relevant industry group is reflected and approved.

③ Bachelor thesis work

  1. Proposal & Production book: summary of synopsis, scenario, storyboard, game design, animatics, etc., submitted in paper, posted online, and presented.
  2. Final result: Final video and executable file.

3-2. Exceptions

① Students who are unable to participate in the production of bachelor thesis works due to reasons recognized by the graduation assessment committee may qualify for graduation after satisfying the conditions of the works and thesis set by the committee.

 In the event of exceptional circumstances (public contest, dissertation, etc.) that are not specified in this document, they may be eligible for graduation through deliberation by the Graduation Assessment Committee.
