Enterprise resource planning (ERP) refers to a type of software that organizations use to manage day-to-day business activities such as accounting, human resource management, procurement, project management, risk management and compliance, and supply chain operations. Among ERP solutions SAP is one of the most popular among enterprises because businesses can get an all-inclusive set of integrated, cross-functional dealing processes with it. Therefore global businesses of all sizes are biased toward selecting SAP for their businesses. International College invited a SAP consulting expert to provide students opportunities to learn ERP and practical experience. Students had opportunity to accessed actual SAP program and had hand-on work in a system. Students could experience how system can shift from human capital management (HCM) – and its processes, steps, and procedures – to individualized experiences designed to keep employees happy, productive, engaged, and improving. |
