[Orientation Held for 293 New Students of the Korea-China Institute of New Media]
Joint Educational Program Operated Between Dongseo University and Zhongnan University of Economics and Law
Students to Study for One Year in the Department of Animation and the Department of Film and Visual Effects

On Wednesday, March 5, the International College held an orientation for new students of the Korea-China Institute of New Media at Sohyang Art Hall in the New Millennium Building. These students will study at Dongseo University for one year, starting in March 2025.
The Korea-China Institute of New Media is a joint initiative between Dongseo University and Zhongnan University of Economics and Law. Each year, around 300 students participate in an advanced major-specific curriculum at the International College, focusing on Animation and Film and Visual Effects.
In 2025, a total of 293 students—145 in the Animation major and 148 in the Film and Visual Effects major—will study at Dongseo University. Their academic year will run until December 2025, during which they will engage in major coursework, internships in their respective fields, and cultural experiences in Korea.
During the orientation, students were provided with important guidelines for their stay in Korea, details about their majors, and information on extracurricular activities. Many students expressed great anticipation for their academic journey and life in Korea.
