3D printing offers a number of advantages to the modern business. These include flexible design, rapid prototyping, print on demand, strong and lightweight parts, fast design and production, waste reduction, cost effective, ease of access and can be environmentally friendly.

The purpose of this workshop is to allow students to have entrepreneur’s perspectives, including leveraging efficiency by 3D prototyping, understanding new product design process, and managing the production resource planning. Students learn basic skills of Autocad to design their own air purifier products. This workshop should be fun and learning.
