The International College held the 2024 Spring Semester Closing Ceremony at Sohyang Art Hall on Friday, June 21, celebrating the upcoming graduation of this semester's international students.
Since it is difficult for international students graduating in August to attend the school's degree conferment ceremony held in February of the following year, the International College annually hosts a closing ceremony at the end of the first semester. During this ceremony, certificates of completion are awarded to students who have completed their four-year course at the International College and are scheduled to graduate.
This year, the event was made even more special by the visit of the Vice President and delegation from Vietnam's National Economics University, which operates a joint education program with our university. They joined in celebrating the graduation of the joint program students. Our university president also attended and personally awarded the certificates, adding to the significance of the occasion.
The ceremony proceeded with congratulatory performances, speeches by distinguished guests, the awarding of certificates, the presentation of excellence awards, and remarks from current students and soon-to-be graduates.
