MD Overview: The goal of this program is to develop the ability to analyze the market environment and audience preferences, and develop appropriate materials to establish a movie production plan. This includes the ability to create a production plan based on the budget allocated for the project, as well as raise and manage funds necessary for the project. Ultimately, the goal is to become a producer or content planning and development professional.
MD Objectives:
- Performance Criteria: Develop the ability to establish a budget that aligns with the intended purpose of the project and establish a direction for funding that aligns with the industry trends and market analysis.
- Knowledge: Understanding of the unique characteristics of the film industry, knowledge of current trends in the film industry and market analysis, understanding of film-related budgeting, accounting principles necessary for the production plan, knowledge of technological trends, and social awareness.
- Skills: Ability to collect data, market research and analysis, information retrieval, ability to analyze scenarios based on budget allocation, ability to handle the fluidity of each budget item, and knowledge of production plan writing techniques.
- Attitude: Positive attitude, logical and insightful approach to trouble-shooting, sharp judgment on budget appropriateness, and strict security awareness.
